Paperweights with landscapes are relatively uncommon. This presentation will explore the various ways in which landscapes have been depicted in paperweights and how these relate to more familiar types of weights. Examples will range from 19th-century Bohemian engraved souvenir weights and early 20th-century Chinese Whites to the work of contemporary artists.
